Why do us Brits find it so difficult to share?

Just a quick post here on what is quite apparent on the world wide web today between people or specifically inventors in the states and those of us here in the UK. It seems we for some reason are either to scared to share thinking that the only way you can share is by giving your own ideas away, or were just too bloody selfish.

I see forum after forum with inventors sharing and helping each other all over the US. They have realise the importance of a united community and they understand for the most part that one can be in the presence of like minded people, ask or give advice without having to give your game away as InventMe put's it. Not only that but how many mistakes would i have avoided if only i had people will to share their experiences with me when i first got involved with patents. I hope the administrators of this forum will keep a tight grip on this forum to make sure it stays professional and most importantly that it stays relevant. I for one will do what i can to help out. Come on Brits, lets stand united and lend a helping hand to one another. Id like to think most inventors are not selfish people, so how about it, let's share our experiences and allow other to learn from our mistakes.
